This was fun. An 8 unit former corner grocery store in the French Quarter suffered a huge (and suspicious) fire. We rebuilt it. Because it was the Quarter we rebuilt it true old school: 4 wythe structural brick walls, with joists tied into the masonry wall and mortared in. You never get to do that anymore.
