Rosy’s Jazz Hall is an important building in New Orleans music history, with a long and storied past that you can feel throughout the space. Ghosts definitely walk around in this building. Sadly, when we began it had suffered decades of neglect and abuse; pretty nasty, really. We redid everything except the structure, and were particularly careful to maintain the imperfect character of the space - there is a comfortable elegance that would have been lost with precision and sterility. We think the ghosts are pleased.
